Beautiful heart
Hearts…in my house… Fell in love again with Mexican ‘milagros’- traditional charms… and those flaming hearts! ❤ Jessica
Ahhhh our community is beautiful! Ask and you shall receive…thank you for sharing this with us Nadine! And so here we have it… Self-Love in the Feminine :) Mmmm…so beautiful! ❤ Amina
We were told that it is written in the masculine, so one day we will ask one of our friends who write Arabic to write in the feminine…. women-identified people, LOVE YOURSELF FIRST too ♥

What do you love?
Sunflowers…
huge, fiery blooms. rough, hairy stems. broad, coarsely toothed. rough leaves and circular heads.
…the kind that arrive unannounced on doorsteps with words of love attached…
…the kind that sit in glass vases braving city-living even though they grow best in fertile, moist soil and terracotta earth…
…and did you know…the sunflower is native to warm ancient lands where the Incas worshipped its image as a symbol of a sun god? (Hmmm and wasn’t it Tracy Chapman that reminded us: ‘Heaven’s Here on Earth’).
…and did you also know that these flowers exhibit “heliotropism” – a propensity to turn towards or follow the sun? That at sunrise their faces turn towards the east and over the course of the day they follow it westward…
…and for all of you that also turn your heads to follow the sun…I share this beauty-full image of love and light. Amina ❤
